It's really sad,
But humans are mad,
We talk about the sanctity of life,
Yet it makes us glad,
When to others we're bad,
We love to cause others strife.
Ask yourself why,
We're scared to die,
If we're so intent on killing,
The truth we belie,
The facts we deny,
To destroy we're more than willing.
Any creature,
Regardless of feature,
To we humans is classed as fair game,
The ultimate preacher,
Is a brutal teacher,
Our murders we love to proclaim.
On the news,
We express our views,
We've killed another thousand today,
We tend to enthuse,
The fact we abuse,
Afterwards we say, let us pray?
Be it war or peace,
Each other we fleece,
We just love to watch others bleed,
From our earthly lease,
We are facing release,
We take far more than we need.
You can feel the fear,
We will not reappear,
Our murderous ways we refused to mend,
For the mad pioneer,
The end is near,
