I think that we all, in a way, feel the same. Like we're being trapped and we can't let anybody know how we really feel or we'll lose a part of ourself. Whitman really hit the nail on the head with this poem and its ability to speak universally.
I totally agree with you Nicole. I think that we all have problems, and feel like there is no solution, but lots of times we dont' let people know what's going on. This is a very true and good poem.
