What a poignant story! We all hope to be taken to that kind world one day, Warm regards, Sandra
Nimal this is a beautiful poem. Your ice cream man represents all those innocent small business owners who are destroyed by the panic of pandemic. One wonders if the swine flu that precipitated the Mexican shutdown wasn't born in Mexico's multi-national piggeries where cruel and disgusting practices provide the perfect medium for swine flue to flourish. Your poem is political, poignant and compelling. Thank you so much for penning it. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
