The Hungry Star-Girls

Suddenly woke up at midnight
Fibrous root grown in my body.
Asparagus?
My legs rhizome.
Tried to speak.
My whispering words as if leaves
And arranged as phyllotaxy.
Self-pollination going on.
My branches break the walls,
Ceiling of my earthly abode.
Standing upright spread myself in the sky

The hungry star-girls sat under my shadow...
