The Human Virus Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Years before this was a beautiful earth
With flora and fauna of varied nature
Flourishing in abundance living to
Themselves without disturbing the
Process of their evolution and proliferation

They were living in peace and harmony
Earth was echoing with sound of sweet
Music and dances and laughter

Till the arrival of a virus
That went deep into their lives
Identifying each one to enhance knowledge
And to prove its might started destroying
Them one by one
Went on demolishing their habitats
Pulled them out from their hidings
Killed them to feel taste of their flesh
Innocent creatures were either got trapped
Or killed to satiate the hunger of the virus
And the virus pushed the beautiful world
Into an age of doom
It is the human virus
