The Human Condition Poem by james watkin

The Human Condition

Rating: 5.0

This Earth-world, to look at it
In any other way
Than with human eyes, sinking
Under forms of decay

Unless marvels, with shocks
Sharp conjoined, appeal
Would too weirdly horrify
As to be found unreal.

Alien skies, swapped for their
Angels' overview
For what's too helpless down there
But sighed; if wept through.
