Wow Michaela, this really made an impact on me. I used to be a foster parent and I remember how it felt when one of my kids would be returned to their parent, even though the child and I knew it wasn't right at that time. He wanted to stay with me and I wanted him to stay with me. I can could only imagine how he felt that day. Your words have given me vision into a day long past. Be well Darlin'.
