The House Of Prayer Poem by Shaila Touchton

The House Of Prayer

I am blessed beyond measure,
By the house of God, His treasure.
A prayer room, a sacred space,
Where I can seek His face.

A new altar, a place of grace,
Where I can find His embrace.
It's beautiful, a sight to see,
A symbol of His love for me.

I prayed for a room to pray,
And God gave me a whole church to stay.
A home where I can rest and seek,
His guidance, His peace, His meek.

Thank you, Jesus, for Your love,
For me and my family from above.
You have blessed us in every way,
And we are grateful every single day.
A house bid approved on Valentine's Day,
A gift from God, in a special way.
A Palm Sunday welcome, a community's embrace,
A precious house, a sacred space.

Celebrating Easter, a new beginning,
A birthday gift, a heartfelt winning.
A place to call home, a refuge and a Shelter
A gift from God, until the very end.

Thank you, Lord, for this love so true,
A house to cherish, a heart renewed.
May this home be blessed, a sanctuary of peace,
A gift from God, a love that will never cease.
