The Home Is Defined By The Love Expressed In It Poem by Raj Dronamraju

The Home Is Defined By The Love Expressed In It

When you are naked in this house
You actually bless this house
The bond that forms or already exists between two people decorates the rooms
And greets any stranger at the front door with radiance
A radiance that breaks down any lumpen, misshapen deposits of embittered humanity

When your lips touch a platonic planet settled by a lustier race
And you feel you are giving off something, not heat, not light, but a combination of both with an edge that cuts under the physical person
You'll know your home is the coordination of all these feelings
The nexus of love, its goodness smothers you and you desire to suffocate this way

The glorious haunting of the best we can do
What reason makes us capable of, what emotion pushes out as a clean discharge
How we fill the rafters with laughter and the knowledge only intimate librarians tend in their places of connection
I reference "connection", I feel what's good here for us grow even further
