The Holy Spirit Knows

The Holy Spirit knows the music I need
To stir my heart anew
To remind me again from whence I came
And what Christ has brought me through
I have been blessed God has been good
His grace has sure supplied
When I was in grief and sorrowing
He was with me by my side

Just the right song will come along
God knows just what I need
To put me back to faithful praying
And caring about others needs
Or it could be a message from the Word
That brings me under conviction
To my slothfulness in serving Christ
And set me on a path of correction

Thank you Lord for touching base
In Word...and... or in song
To bring me back to sweet fellowship
That you have wished for me all along
Revive this heart to break forth with praise
Hallelujah for your Son
Give this saved sinner a burdened heart
To see You save another one! ! !

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
