The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit can magnify
The sin we have inside
Reveal it to us in God's Word
As well as to all our pride
And lead us to a humbling act
Perchance as well to pray
God be merciful to me a sinner
I need You Lord today

You can be anywhere my friend
Any day and any hour
There's a God in Heaven above
Ready to release His power
And send His Spirit swiftly to
Indwell you by His grace
If you repent and trust in Christ
You'll receive this saving faith

A personal relationship with a Friend
That sticketh closer than any brother
Is just a little taste of Heaven
That's not found in any other
A token of our fine Redemption
Saved by the blood of the Lamb
With our inheritance eternally secured
And walking with the Great I Am
