The Holy Land? Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

The Holy Land?

Is Israel holy? Hard to say,
Not 'yes' or 'no' in a simple way.

For billions, faith makes it so,
A sacred land, a holy glow.

Jews see roots, a story old,
Temples risen, stories told.

Christians find where Jesus trod,
His life, his death, the grace of God.

Muslims know Al-Aqsa stands,
A holy journey, blessed hands.

But politics cast a different light,
Conflict shadows, day and night.

Opinions clash, the world debates,
On laws and rights, and people's fates.

Holiness thrives for some, it's true,
While others see a different view.

So look within, and you decide,
Where faith and truth can gently guide.
