The Historian's Hidden War Poem by Isadora Quagmire

The Historian's Hidden War

Rating: 5.0

Within the shadows, he, a traitor feigned,
A double agent in the dark's embrace,
While secret history subtly he sustained,
In hidden script, defying evil in its face.

The Chamberlain, with lies and twisted hand,
Rewrote the scrolls, his crimes he tried to hide,
But truth's memoir is written like the sand,
This nameless man within himself confide.

He penned the facts, while acting out the lie,
A loyal tool, to serve evil's wicked scheme,
Yet hoped to save them, watching keenly by,
To cleanse the darkness, wake them from the dream.

He plotted downfall from the very start,
A burning ember in a traitor's heart.
