Sobande Olalekan Surajudeen, Abeokuta,
I come from a land of milk and honey,
but alas I am poor and have no money.
Who knows the cause,
of all the woes?
:
I come from a govt where most big boys,
make lots of noise.
He told the nurse,
he felt much worse.
:
:
Nigeria was a queen,
dressed in garments of green.
On monday morning,
I'm always yarning.
:
:
The flashes of lightning,
were bright and frightening.
The light of the day,
was turning grey.
:
:
And oh! How short are govt. schemes!
Here ended all our golden dreams.
Nigeria, Nigeria, pumpkin eater.
Had a wife and couldn't keep her.
