To walk through this life with the Lord by my side;
to lean on Him each step of the way;
To praise Him in all things the good and the sad;
and to trust Him for words that I say;

To love unselfishly, relentlessly, faithfully;
to be thankful each time that I breathe;
To surrender completely, passionately, willingly,
And to know in my heart He won’t leave.

To give with a joy so divinely supplied;
to forgive all with confidence as He forgives;
To stand up for Jesus with sure certainty;
and to tell all the world that He lives!

To do all these things would give credence to love,
undying, steadfast and true;
I depend on You, Lord, please help me to be
forever devoted to You!
