The Hideous Moon. Poem by SY Wong ...

The Hideous Moon.

The Moon stood behind the branches
Twinkling a light, as the leaves rustle
She, realer than the dark sky
A bit shy
Yet couldn't hide her golden eyes
I understood
She held on to a story Feeling sad
Been patient waiting
A drop of first rain
Harvest at last,
The Moon reaps.
