.the Hero Within Comments

I like the trenchant tone of this poem. You won't coddle the whiner and say, There, there, it'll be OK. Instead it's a summons to the quest that you declare. Your poem reminds me of some of the wonderful things Joseph Campbell said to Bill Moyers (and all of us, really) in THE HERO'S ADVENTURE, when he emphasized we are each of us the hero of our own individual life. And like Campbell, you argue convincingly that each of us can find that heroic quality within, the real challenge is to exercise it, bring it out in the open, use it creatively. Thanks for your confidence in us! It's so much better than mere sympathy.

hi dear Adeline...good day loved yer lines a fabulous message and reminds one of the classical and philosophical sages the time of kings and princes sent to caves and raves for making heroes out of em.... inadvertently i drifted to my fave homer and loved the message in yer poem thanx very nice indeed blessed be sat :)
