The Heat Of The Sun Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

The Heat Of The Sun

Are you the one who sits on many waters?
Then, the sentence of the great whore is with you;
Like a great hail out of heaven.

The tree unclean spirits like frogs are with you,
Like someone getting lost in Amageddon;
But the heat of the sun is on us all.

Like life in and around your cities,
Let us put life into a better shape than hate;
For you can easily get lost in Har-Megiddo too!
