The Healing Power Of Love

Love has such healing power
It's from God's dispensary
The Great Physician knows each amount
That will be healing balm for thee
Don't be shy to pass it out
There's plenty in His supply
Love can heal the deepest of wounds
The wounds of our hurt inside

That's why I love to watch children
In the wonder of their innocence
They express love so freely
Not dependent on circumstance
But we as adults hold back
Love must be to our specifications
If it doesn't fit all of our criteria
Love suffers with sure suffication

Lord break our heart's till they feel Thee
And find the true essence of love
For it's found in the fragrance of giving
Giving because we love God
O heart take reference to Jesus
For an example of love to employ
He came unto His own and His own received Him not
Still...this did not stop His joy

For the joy that was set before Him
Christ endured the Cross
All of the scenarios we endure
Are insignificant compared to His loss
May we be stronger soldiers
In our service for Christ
And hold up high and exemplify
Love! ...because of His Sacrifice!
