The Headphone

I got to fathom
The awful flank of espousal
With mom and dad
Always at each others throat

I made myself invisible
Amidst the throb
Adopted the headphone
As my true companion

I got to savvy the brands
Like Sennheiser
Sony, Bose, Jbl,
Skullcandy and more
As I grew older
