who have no soft heart= can this mean வீர மிலாளர்? Probably the poet's intention is that one who has no courage, can not use abusive and harsh words, which may bring trouble to him, from which he will not be in a position to save.
Dear friend, You are perfectly right! In the above said poem, both words are given as alternative! If anyone has contact with hard-core fellows with no soft corner is unpleasant; As you said, if a person who is not strong enough speaks harsh words to others, it results in disharmony!
