Barry, our e-books released through Poets United World-Wide is, in fact, a desperate song, recited for coffee houses, that no one really hears. I wish it wasn't so and that it was required reading for all the pols and powers that be. Tragic!
Even those with celebrity and a microphone are ignored by the powers that be. All the common man or woman can do is vote and protest to the best of their ability.

A very thought-provoking write, encompassing the whole history of mankind. With historical references, this poem certainly deserves to go in my favorite list. A super 10.
