Well I always give you a ten and it just brought you up to an 8.8. You've it the nail right on the head and it is a male and you best not have a higher ranking or you become dead meat. There's an old saying, 'he who doth Protest TOO much.' Quite true, I believe...And I got that Tara thing and made sure PH knew of it and they have stopped but by myself, the ones I've missed having only been here since Feb. I've been trying to get scores up. I noticed it on yours and thought OMG, he's in the top ten that could mean the '1' man bandit attack and on Tara of all people.... You made me laugh with this one and that is with a jaw ligament pull that I just did today...Not supposed to open my mouth, goodness, what will become of me? ? ? I will continue to try and get the numbers up when I go into your poems. You are one of the best here and the gal below you and of course a few others as well....marci. :) [don''t use the numbers myself, not worth the grief for me]

Michael, given that you appear to be the biggest target on here for his Oneness I would be looking very close to home for the id of the wind-up merchant. Nearly all of your boxes have been oned so far as I can see. An enemy would grow tired of it, and I doubt if you have any on here. No, I'd be looking at close 'cyber' friends, for someone who'd get a kick out of winding you up at great length - in the belief that someday you'd react! Fran was just about to make an interesting point there too! ! But, no I don't think it's malice. I think it's a comic with time on his hands. Best to you.. jim

i hear you, Michael. Never been hit by 'the oner', but by a twoer, and once by a fourer. Wonder how long it took him to figure out he was actually helping you?

Michael, when Poet Watch wrote to me last week, I was very cross, particularly when he didn't give me an opportunity to reply to his mealy mouthed insinuation about fairness and 'fudging stats'. But I've been re-reading your poetry since then and realize how silly I was to worry. Your poems are so original and inspiring, the number in the box beside them is irrelevant. How curious that someone who purports to be interested in poetry feels so threatened by someone whose whole being is filled with compassion. What a twit. love, Allie xxxx

We can't ALL be well-adjusted and rational, Michael. I feel pity for The Oner (I've even given him a title to make him feel more human) . Your poems are not down-graded in any way by his little point. Which leads me onto... no never mind... Just keep up your excellent writings. Love, Fran xxx

Now, did you 'one' yourself to get the ball-bag rolling? Danny
