We must not and cannot let a thief get away
Or they will steal again another day,
Even if they're taking just a nickel or even a dime
They must be known and judged for that crime.
We cannot let a criminal un-judged to be set free
Or the next crime that they commit might be against you or me,
In this country of the rich and poor and the middle class which is us
If we bend or break the law we're throwing our country under the bus.
Never forget them or ever let them go
Just because who they are or who they might know,
And never let then get away with a run or a dash
And never let them buy you with promises or gifts or cash.
We cannot and should not ever sweep crimes under the rug
No matter who is the criminal or the thug,
If we do they most undoubtedly will do it once again
They don't have a conscience either with pencil or pen.
Whether they are white or blue collared they must be treated the same
As we all know they are playing the very same game,
And if we allow them or anyone to get away by breaking the law
Then our society as we know it will be destined for a fall.
The accused and the caught must always go to court
Then from the truth the jury will fairly sort,
No matter of their attitude or even of their guile
Everyone always deserves a fair trial.
God of course on judgement day will also judge them as well
And he most certainly will send the guilty ones straight to hell,
God will not ever set the guilty ones free
So, why should we.
