Evelyn, your poem takes the reader on an adventure that is full of exquisite metaphors and such vivid imagery. It's as if we are right there with you. And in our retirement years, those kinds of adventures are so highly valued. Thank You for transporting me to that world.

Aged years have passed since then, and I no longer thirst after adventure, For I've been everywhere and done everything.....the stature of your poetry has grown steadily as you have gathered knowledge and experiences from each passing mile stone of your life!
