Gluttony one of the seven deadly sins
Was what he was guilty of
His heart empty of love
Except for the love of money
Money that brought power
And many, many luxurious things
His home cluttered with expensive objects
His bank account filled to the brim with money.
He did desire a mansion and taxi driver
He wanted people to be his servants
He wanted to increase the weekly rent
He wanted to decrease people's salaries
He wanted to avoid the tax man
He wanted to scheme against the vulnerable
He would steal to increase his wealth
He would trick and lie for a payday.
The Greedy Man came across
A low-earning worker needing a flat
Of course The Greedy Man wasn't having that
Until the worker inherited a few million pounds
The Greedy Man gasping out loud
For his devious earnings had been found
The worker paying his increased rent weekly
Not yet realizing the trick abound.
However done the scheme was discovered
The Worker cleverly keeping quiet
Wondering how to teach an important lesson
About gluttony and the punishment waiting
So the Worker set a clever thought-out trap
He stored a few hundred thousands of pounds
In a cluttered storeroom above the house
Claiming he had nowhere else to store it.
Falling for the trap The Greedy Man was caught red handed
The Worker added piles of money to him
And hold him to give the money to the devil
And the Lord behold: The Greedy Man tragically fell out
Of the high and unforgiving three story window
Piles of money slowly fluttering down with him
Money later donated to charity by the Greedy Man himself
Having blacked out to the fire and flames of hell.
Talking later with his friends about his gluttony
The Greedy Man saw truth beyond money
Beyond fake fame, persuasive power and false riches
He saw all the people make the world a better place
He knew he had finally learnt his lesson
He knew heaven was beyond physical possessions
And he never stole or schemed again
Learning about life and how friends heals his wounds.
