The Greatest Fool Of The World Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

The Greatest Fool Of The World

The Greatest Fool Of The World
I dare to announce me as the greatest fool.
I have helped my so many fellows
Without expecting any returns from them.
Bearing personal loss of property and time.
Now, I do mesure street by bare feet
They do pass by the side of me
In ventilated luxurious car.
They don't recognise even me
They are far away from my reach.
While counting no of houses they have
I have learned rules of mathematics.
Nothing that I gained from them
But still, the most valuable lession.
That worked out from their behaviour is
One needs to count eggs before hen hatches.
"Do you duty without expectation of fruits "
This holy version fooled me throughout my life.
Not wise to deposit in the bank
Without making an enquiry of rate of interest.
