The Greatest Christmas Gift Poem by Shaun Cronick

The Greatest Christmas Gift

Rating: 5.0

I'm so wrapped up in Christmas,
Feeling like a present to bestow.
But the greatest gift ever given,
Was born over 2,000 years ago.

In that stable in Bethlehem,
As three wise men smiled.
In the loving arms of Mary,
Was Jesus our Christ child.

Nice sentiments expressed here about Christmas Shaun. It never ceases to amaze me how little people know nowadays about the real meaning of Christmas. The clue is definitely in the name CHRISTmas. I guess there are some out there who perhaps think it is merely Xmas. Anyway short rant over, it's definitely a festive five from me!

Well said, Shaun. It's sad that too many people have taken Christ out of Christmas.
