John Keats (1795-1821) 'Here Lies One Whose Name Was Writ in Water' (words by Keats himself) John Keats is buried in the Non-Chatolic *** Cemetery in Rome (Quartiere Testaccio) , Italy. His grave is in a quiet corner, close to the Pyramid (Piramide Cestia) . - Shelley is also buried in the same cemetery- Also known as the Protestant Cemetery - although it contains the graves of Jews and other non-Christians.
