The Grand Reunions Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

The Grand Reunions

Rating: 5.0

The Grand Reunions

When I have compiled all my regrets,
Life wastages of the centavos and the pesos,

Life's sanctions from the harsh weathers,
Life renegades of their promises,

Old favorite clothes in favours for the new styles,
New smartgears replacing the old wristwatch,

Throaic leniency for the new hoarse throats,
Nasal phegms from this obnoxious nose,

And my songs are old versions for this new remastered technology,
And my vows were archaic values,

Yet shall I recall these missing young ladies of the yon,

Invited again for a formal gatherings,
Invited again for a new dinner party,

These lost things are never forgotten even as bonesand age brought us from the old shelters for an everlasting place in space,
