Read the poem both in English and Tamil. A mixed emotion of pity and longing is been shown and a true portrayal of the younger generation's attitude towards the aged people has been shown.

This is a pathetic situation of elder people in a country which was great in taking care of them in a joint family unlike many other countries..Let this poem reach someone who could make some change of mind to care the wretched old parents deprived so far!
