The Gospel According To Margaret Thatcher Poem by DM W

The Gospel According To Margaret Thatcher

Rating: 5.0

Margaret Thatcher, U.K Prime Minister (1979 - 1990)was essentially an incredibly evil witch who did everything in her power to overturn Christ's Beatitudes and corrupt society in the process.

'For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. ' (1 Timothy 6: 10)

The gospel according to Margaret Thatcher:
'There is no such thing as society. It's dog
Eat dog. Everyone for themselves. Let the poor starve.
The most important thing is to get rich quickly.
And I don't want to hear any quaint talk about
Such things as ethics. For ethics are for losers.
Where does kindness and compassion get you?
Do you want to be victims all your lives
Like that coward Jesus Christ who was crucified?
Religion is a crutch for the weak. Your focus
Should be solely on making money. For money
Makes the world go round. O what else can compare with it? ! '
You may turn away from ruthless ways if you want to.
But the Iron Lady is not for turning!

Oh My! Talk about spot on Dominic! ! ! And you are so right Thatcher had NO ethics. A New Zealand reporter gave her the toughest interview I've ever seen about Britain's dealings with a then murderous apartheid South Africa regime and gold Krugerrand's. She squirmed and wriggled and lost it. Great Gerald Scarfe cartoon too of her devouring Major.10++ and many thanks for memories.
