Is the God within white?
Is the God within black?
Yet the color of blood is red,
And hearts are in the same place for everyone.
Do we all have two eyes?
Do you know the God within you?
The God within is neither white nor black.
Who made our bodies?
How did God get inside?
Why did God get inside?
Oluwadarasimi checked Kwami's body,
Skeleton, veins, and blood.
He wondered,
When did God get inside?
Why did God get inside?
Oluwadarasimi scratched his head.
Did he miss something?
He cleaned his glasses,
Saw a "void" in the x-ray.
Looked again, it was just a speck of dust.
His mind went blank,
His eyes fluttered,
And he saw himself in the "void."
He laughed from his belly,
And exploded into the "void."
He floated through a sky of swirling colors,
Met talking animals and dancing stars.
He swam in rivers of liquid light,
And flew with wings made of dreams.
"Maybe the God within has a sense of humor."
He chuckled to himself.
