The Glorious Gospel

The glorious gospel of our blessed God
Can save to the uttermost
The power of the Word revealed to us
Father...Son...and Holy Ghost
Christ's blood is sufficient for our sin
For it washes white as snow
By faith each sinner enters in
This glorious gospel to know

Hallelujah...what a Saviour
Sin's utmost Purifier
Who removes each stain from within
And lifts our spirit's higher
Then our tongues give declaration
"My God how great Thou art! "
The evidence of a sinner saved
And a true repentant heart

O hunger soul for Righteousness
And thirst for it as well
Remember our souls are sealed for Heaven
Praise God delivered from Hell
In steadfastness for the honoring of
Great things the Lord has done
What glorious gospel to declare
To be saved by the Crucified One!
