I found her there in springtime.
A wondrous time, you know.
My love in all her gloried form
With such a wondrous glow.
She had no special treasures
That other girls possess.
But she was always doing things
I valued none the less.
She always held me firmly,
But gently in her arms.
I never felt she knew how much
I valued all her charms.
She spoke in tender whispers.
A vocal tone so sweet.
She told me all the things she loved,
The things I won't repeat.
Though just a country bumpkin,
She wasn't dumb at all.
I thought she would have done quite well
At any prom or ball.
I would have had her join me,
But never got the chance.
She died in autumn, late that year;
Before our Christmas dance.
She lives again each springtime.
That's when she blooms, you know.
I see her in the flowers.
The Girl With Wondrous Glow.
Besides that, poems in a fantastic way sounds, I can will add, me has amazed such thin feeling and eternal the spring fire of every flower, in soul... of Green wolf... Sincerely, Tsira
Even in death, life goes on. There's a loving warmth to this poem. Thank you for sharing. :)
You expressed a most stunning love and wonderment. Smiling til she died, then tears fell. sure enough flowers bloom to celebrate her wonderful presence. Magnificent work.

As one has come to expect a deep sentiment etched between lines of romantically written poetry that naturally flows.

No doubt about it Greenwolfe your rhyme and lyrics work well as I comfortably take in each word. I don't have to sit and ponder on a statement I can't understand, but just love to romp down to a final stanza full of flowers and beauty as I do here. Timeless beautiful words to dwell the reader's hearts. Karin Anderson
