The Girl In The Mirror Poem by Clare Murgor

The Girl In The Mirror

Rating: 5.0

I walked past her
Went back to glimpse again
Saw her then...
The girl in the mirror
Her lips mumbling like it's pleading for help
Her tears though dry it's tracks was nearly visible

She looked back at me
Her beautiful face mask almost falling off
She held on to herself
But it only bled
Her heart was in pieces

I smiled back at her
Stretching out to her
I saw her reach to me
She instead held on to me
She instead wiped my tear
The girl in the mirror
