The Bible tells me Jesus taught
God's greatest commandments to heed.
My love of God and neighbors ought
Be what I seek in thought and deed.
My love of God must come first, and
Then love for neighbors one and all.
Sometimes it's hard to understand,
'Specially when hate comes to call.
But Jesus tells me I can find
Within myself all love to give.
Within my heart and soul and mind,
Gift of love as long as I live.

My love of God and neighbors be
The most Jesus does ask of me.
