The Frog's Enchanted Pond Poem by Micron Jan

The Frog's Enchanted Pond

He hops through grass that glimmers gold,
Soft earth alive beneath his hold.
The air is thick with scented light,
Moss and flowers glow in the night.

Then stillness opens, a hidden seam,
A pond that sparkles like a dream.
Ripples shimmer with silver fire,
Mirroring stars that never tire.

He leans to sip the sparkling glow,
And feels the water whisper low:
"Welcome, small traveler, to this place,
Where time drifts slow and magic stays."

A dragonfly hums a tuneful spell,
As moonlight dances in each swell.
He leaps, he spins, the world awakes,
Ripples curl like crystal lakes.

Eyes wide with wonder, green skin gleams,
He floats inside the pond of dreams.
Every ripple, every sigh,
Carries secrets from the sky.
