The Frivolities Of The Stars Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

The Frivolities Of The Stars

Frivolities Of The Stars

In the event
something happens,
Next October, next January,
Feted a numbers of collisions
with homicides and disabilities,

All things have been relegated,
another tier for interpellations,

It was composite dread,
Of fallen asteroid,
and necrophobia,

You're only flavored
aftertaste
of dirts and silts,

Loneliness and kindness
are the other dissertations,
As steeped ways to star's myriad,

Can convey only another affections,
and human pride,
The vineyards
of forgotten dreams,
caricatures of fallen saints,

The winds of dangers,
Scraped from talons of ambiguity,
Strapped in the unavoidable gurneys,

Available as only to you
and me are indiscernible,
descendinginto chaos,

Days into love
and remembering,
Security, swordplay, brave deeds
and brittle weakling,

Soon the vultures
will make a call, as carcass,
and maggots
a carcasses, sons, daughters,
of MotherEarth,

They have no name,
no home and no memory,
As much concern,
as the frivolities of the stars
