The Fountain Of Poetry Poem by Gary James Smith

The Fountain Of Poetry

The Fountain Of Poetry

I drank of a fountain
That was overflowing for me
The blood of my Saviour
Poured forth from Calvary
How sweet it did taste
So I drank the full cup
Now His living water
And living bread are my sup

The fountain of poetry
Come fill your cup
Find out what's happening
Or in today's terms (What's up!)
As our heart's pour out
Of each sorrow or joy
The fountain of poetry
Has each mixtures alloy!

O thank You dear Father
For that fountain of Life
For a life everlasting
That's found only in Christ
Yes O how I've tasted
And found God is good
He can take bitter waters
And turn them to gold!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
