Happiness comes and goes
without invitation
nobody knows the mystery
infinite theories
defining happiness
happiness is within
it is in our mind
it is attributed to religion
it is attributed to divine faith
but the methodology of
deriving happiness
is not clearly known
no method is permanent
no practice is time-tested
for getting happiness
nobody needs to be a scholar
nobody needs to be a saint
nobody needs to relinquish the earth
the method has to be simple
the method has to be permanent
the method has to be effective
one thing is sure
the solution has to be in one's mind
as I analysed lives
of great men and women
one thing was evident
what is the secret of love:
it is being humble
that is the first step
in acquiring happiness
once pride is evacuated
what remains is the 'real human being'
and wisdom is born
in the journey of life
one has to interact with people
and living beings
everybody is born like you
the process of interaction
be filled with love
and that is possible
when you think well of others
the second step in getting happiness
everybody has to work in this world
as work is worship
but loving work is possible
when you work without expectations
that is the final step in getting happiness
who are you to expect the result
when GOD takes care of everything
thus the formula of happiness stands out
be humble;
think well of others;
work without expectations;
and happiness will be yours.
