The Forgotten (But Never By God) Poem by Gamson Jr Mawallil Quijano

The Forgotten (But Never By God)

Alienated from family for decades
Neither hi, hello nor to peek from shadows
Behind bars sunrise, sunset, and boisterous waves
At least can be seen, heard than falling leaves

Have love and compassion already perished?
Or still on but no one dares to cherish
Great, he can eat, drink, sleep to flourish
But when it comes to family's love he's malnourished

He always longs for someone to remember
Even just a moment he'd be happier
In his twilight, tears flow seem like a river
He's gone now, never to be seen forever
