So very true, Joseph. Our good deeds, no matter how big or small will live on, way beyond our dead. They may not carry our names but the love contained in them will go on and on and multiply and multiply.
beautifully written poem. the good deed we sew will follow us to the end
A very compelling poem Joe. It reminds me of not taking things for granted and living life at it's fullest. We must not pass through this life without making an impact on someone. Let us not allow grass to grow under our feet. Excellent write.
Extremely compelling. Absolutely beautiful. I'm speechless.
The light we shine, within our time In true reality, Sets firm the legacy we leave Throughout eternity. .....nice poem golden heart....thanks
Yes, the good deeds that we sow around will sprout and the light we kindle now will continue to glow! Even after we leave, posterity will remember us for what we have done. Sir, though it is not yet time to go, once we all have to leave(be young or old, never in sequential order of years) Then I am sure you will be remembered for the legacy, you leave behind! A great poem as always and a 10
beautiful expression through lifetime achievement each stanza is piognant in its view.
We all do indeed wish to be remembered, and hopefully for our better self rather than for our failings. A superb poem Joseph, very well put together, and a great read. Love the closing stanza, very poignant, but I hope your flame will burn a lot longer yet.
