D-awn of the first morn
A-ims to leave the old year;
V-iew of the new horizon
E-xpresses no doubt and fear.
H-appy holiday has come,
U-nder the dark skyway;
A-llowing your eyes to see
R-efulgence from fireworks display.
D-ecember twenty-ninth Friday is the time when you were born;
E-njoy first your birthday, two days before the first morn.

I would like to translate this poem
A great piece nicely penned. Indeed we should cast our doubts and fears and face the new horizon.
