The Final Frontier Poem by douglas lewis

The Final Frontier

As a child I would toss
My arms full of leaves
Into the sky
Giving life to the colours,
A shimmering glide.
My very own ticker tape parade.
I had captured the moonbeams.
Now I was a hero
Riding the float.
