hey seems.....what a powerful write this one is.......well done again!
there is a visible pessimism in the last stanza of teh poem, it is as if teh poet has come to a dead end, and there is as if no light at the end of teh tunnel, actually life is like that.this poem speaks a universal truth, a birth-a carry forward of teh birth-and death.it is a lonely journey and the 'two' have pushed you on teh highway to live your own life as their 'twos'pushed them, and hence a cycle, , how illusory of otherwise it is i do not know. the poem has come up so well in spite of following the strict rhyme, which is always a regulating factor for the poet, the four Pall-bearers also have a role to play, a major role, because they carry the kid and his life-long burdon, i think this is seema's first poem on 'death consciusness' readers should be alive to this poem, thanx
the emotion that brought forth this poem from you touches me, seema...
'World moves on, and I just sit On the futile earthen floor Digging a ditch six by six And awaiting the final four! ' Brilliant poem, love it.
Seema, What beautiful poem have written? What a great thought flow? What a great depth? Just at 30 you have given the gist of 100. Very brilliantly written poem. Especially, the first and last stanza are super! Your poem is nothing less than KOLAR GOLD! Full 10. Kudos. God bless you.
