Well written by you both and an interesting look at the ferris wheel of life, 10 Lynda xx
The constant cycle of life - a delightful piece of writing, so optimistic. I love the last three lines. They flow beautifully. Irene
Optimistic and a joyful manner of affronting life and its ups and downs. Nice!
A metaphorical ride indeed thru all the ups and downs of life a nice way to view it all and I view this with a big huge ten God is with is thanks for the read uavaniceday regards
Interesting take on the circle of life Maggie. Very nice.
a joyful, a blessing piece of work. Life is like a wheel, a ferris wheel they say. Life has its ups and downs, one day you're at the top, the next day you're down or sometimes you're happy and sometimes you're sad. Yeah, just like in the movies a happy ending and a tragedy. You can never tell, anything could happen.
A delightful poem. On the Ferris Wheel of life enjoy the ride Take all the struggle and strife in a stride. CP
true, life is a ferris wheel, and it's best to go with the flow, and accept whereever we are are at that time, knowing that change is always possible, and never to take anything for granted....
this is excellent poetic expressions dear maggie! 10+ a must
Excellent metaphor of our lifes journey, life has its ups and downs just like a ferris wheel, it also goes round and round never really stopping. Love Bob 10+
Dear, an excellent work by all means. The philosophy is very clear and absorbing. You have hit at the right spot. The last stanza stands as the crown of the poem. Perfect language, perfect insight. Man thinks that god is simply sitting behind the clouds. No, he appears before us in every way as you rightly describe. Know for certain that anything that protects our life and lifts our hope and spirit is a case of providence - it can be a book, person, place, a machine, a function of time, our own intuition etc. If we reflect on our life, we can see that there was enough providence working from all corners of the universe in every form. So we need not have any regrets in life. The collaboration work is perfect in every sense. Thanks for sharing this great work.
You really described life as the ferris wheel, like it, it is full of ups and downs, with a message that we should look at life in a very positive way from the side of the blessings we have. Inspiring.
A lovely poem Meggie, you help us all to look at the positive side of life and appreciate all our blessings...10++
This is a very delightful and charming poem, Meggie, one that is a pleasure to read. I liked it very much because of it's postive attitude towards life, so wonderfully expressed in almost every line of this well written poem. It's all too easy for someone to criticize their bad fortune or lament about their life, but I always try to look on the bright side of things in this life, and I was glad to see that you do as well. Carl.
Wow Meggie! What an awesome metaphor the ferris wheel makes. This is one of the best poems I have read it a long time. It rotates its message of love in an unending karmic cycle as Dr. Hitesh Sheth points out. I don't know if I told you, but my daughter married on top of a ferris wheel. Absolutely brilliant work! 10 love Karin
The last stanza lines are the essence of this poem...talk about the essence of true good life...well written piece...10
Ah the wheel of life round and round it goes where it stops know one knows - 10
From: Frank James Ryan, Jr. (5/12/2008 1: 01: 00 AM) An apropos parallel drawn in the smbolization of a ferris wheel likened to lifes ever-revolving course....the peaks & valleys...high's & low's...and sometimes we get stranded at the top...and all we can do is wait, til the man in charge, brings us down to safegrounds....Excellent penning & a belated, but Happy Mother's Day to you, Meggie! You caught me visiting tonight, as unfortunately, once again, i have decided to retire the pen....business beckons my unwavered efforts...and literature, [so it appears, for me, at least]....is not not going to cover any bills! I will visit soon again, and i have left 100 select poems on site for whomever, whenever. You take care, young lady. ~ FjR ~
