2 - a little laugh at the end. it reminds me of my childhood playmate/neighbor, Helen (& her sister) . i never kissed either one. we also were " innocent" . i LOVE this poem! ! ! wonderful story, 'flow', and rhyming. thanks. to MyPoemList indeed! bri :) p.s. the only change i might make: Through The Fence

1 - " sammiches" i'm pretty sure you KNOW how to spell " sandwiches" ! but maybe kids in " days of innocence" might mispronounce. ;) thane: [historical] " (in Scotland) a man, often the chief of a clan, who held land from a Scottish king"
