It is always a pleasure for me to read your translations, Rajnish ji. Hindi is such a rich language and you handle it so very beautifully. Going through an old album brings back pleasant memories. The changes from then to now is most effectively expressed. But the last verse is the master stroke! The genes! :) 100+++
A family album may be a thing of the past in these days of videos recordings, but the joy of sifting through the pages of that album and feeling that the touch of an old still photograph evokes cannot be surpassed. The poem brings home a nostalgic feel which prompted me to translate it into Hindi. I am humbled by your generous words of appreciation. Thanks, Geeta ji.
Maintain family album and knowing about family tree motivate new generations. Ancestors remaining in record leave valuable information. There is likeliness and there is love. Family is very nice that exists on mutual respect and cooperation. This poem is very nicely translated into Hindi and you have a very powerful translation skill....10
