hey dude, awsome poem. i hope you dont mind, but i kinda took the first 4 lines of the poem and tried to recreate it. that was before i saw the rest of it, and realized mine doesnt really compare. but this is what i got.... Fallen Soldier all alone, Fallen Soldier far from home Trickling down his face a tear Forgetting how it feels to fear Thinking back to home his dear The only one he holds sincere Wondering how things could go so sour Wanting only her his dieing hour Knowing things couldn't be the same Lieing there feeling alone and lame With multiple shotwounds throughout his chest Begging his comrades to put him to rest His dieing breath he feels her kiss Wanting only one last wish To be with her and nothing else... i kept your poem in mind when i went to basic training and wrote the rest there about a girl i was with...but once again, mine doesnt even compare to yours, great work!

This is an amazing poem, and by far the best I have read yet. I am currently in the process of compiling a group of poems that I am sending to our troops overseas. I would love to able to include this one. You can email me at soldiersangels01@hotmail.com
